This short introduction to booxi will help you understand what needs to be done first and summarizes the most important booxi features.

If you signed in for the first time

  • Take a moment to review this guide and complete your business profile.
  • Setup your service offer, associated resources and personnel profiles.
  • Review your appointment rules and set your business status to Available Online.
  • Your booxi website will be available online and ready to take bookings.

Appointment Rules

Tell booxi how to manage your bookings by customizing the appointment rules of your business, personnel and services, where each can have different rules.

  • You can enable online booking for only specific services, but display them all online.
  • You can set limits to avoid last minute bookings and bookings too far in advance.
  • You can change the delay for the automated appointment reminder message.
  • You can manually or automatically dispatch appointment requests for specific personnel or services.
  • You can display your availability or request up to 5 time slots of your client’s availability.

Availability & Schedules

booxi determines your personnel availability from their work schedule and available time slots added to their calendar.

  • Once booxi has removed all time slots that are busy or occupied by appointments, what is left is available and can be booked with new appointments.
  • Each personnel can decide to use the business open hours as a work schedule or provide their own weekly schedule.
  • Each personnel can have a different service offer, and work hours schedule, with a calendar that can be synchronised with a personal calendar.
  • They can also not provide any schedule and add available time slots directly in their calendar, which is useful for a schedule that changes every week.

Appointment Management

Fill up your calendar with appointments booked on the phone, or online from your website, social networks, or booxi page.

  • Online appointment requests from your clients must obey your appointment rules, however you have complete control and can always bypass these rules.
  • For every appointment, booxi will automatically send a confirmation and a reminder to your client, unless you choose not to.
  • Reminders will prevent no show, and the more you use booxi, the more time you save.
  • Appointments have colors. Green means all good and approved; Yellow means that it is awaiting your approval; and Blue means you are awaiting a client’s confirmation. You may see Red for Cancellation.

Accessible from anywhere

You and your personnel can also use booxi on a smartphone which gives everybody more flexibility and prevents schedule conflicts as well as phone inquiries about schedules.

  • All your data is securely stored in the cloud, which means it is centralized - Any device from anywhere has access to the same data protected using your email and password.
  • No backup required - Your data is in the cloud, and automatically backed up.
  • Reminders will prevent no show, and the more you use booxi, the more time you save.
